Flimp Media is a benefits communication company that helps organizations educate employees about their workplace benefits through engaging digital content. I helped shape and support Flimp’s visual branding through character illustration, storytelling, and cohesive design systems. My contributions included storyboards and style kits for marketing videos, as well as branded eBook designs and other marketing materials.
Flimp produces a large volume of educational marketing content—including videos, eBooks, and digital campaigns—to help explain complex benefits information in a clear and engaging way. The challenge was to maintain a consistent visual identity while creating content that felt approachable, friendly, and easy for employees to understand.
To support Flimp’s brand voice, I focused on developing visual storytelling tools and design systems that could scale across different types of marketing content. This included character-driven illustrations and structured style kits that ensured consistency in tone, color, and visual elements across projects.

The design systems and illustration style also allowed the marketing team to produce content efficiently while maintaining a consistent brand experience across campaigns.
For this product explainer video, I worked as the lead designer focused on character illustrations and visual storytelling. The design direction was provided by the team, and I expanded on it by building a custom style kit for Flimp to ensure visual consistency. I also developed the storyboard that guided the animation team through production.
